UNEP Global Environment Outlook: environment for development (GEO-4) (Release - 25 October 2007; morning ireland report) GEO-4 says the well-being of billions of people in the developing world is at risk, because of a failure to remedy the relatively simple problems which have been successfully tackled elsewhere. It finds “a remarkable lack of urgency”, and a “woefully inadequate” global response to climate change.
